England fans have been left concerned about the nation's Euro 2024 hopes after identifying three 'weak link' areas against Brazil.

It has been a tough night for Gareth Southgate's side in front of a packed out Wembley, with the soon-to-be Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick scoring the opening goal on 80 minutes.

That proved to be the only goal of the game, with Dorival Junior's side sealing a 1-0 win despite the absence of several key players such as Alisson, Marquinhos, Gabriel and Neymar.

England themselves are without important players, with Southgate forced to pick a much-changed defence for the international break.

Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane were also both ruled out of the Brazil clash through injury, leaving the England boss with some thinking to do.

But Three Lions fans believe there are a number of problem areas for Southgate to deal with ahead of Euro 2024.

The first of those is at left-back, with fans left concerned over Luke Shaw's potential absence from the squad amid a lack of other options. Ben Chilwell started for England at Wembley, but failed to assert dominance over proceedings - and also has long-term injury concerns.

Fans were also left concerned about the centre-back position, with the Three Lions conceding their goal just minutes after Harry Maguire had been taken off by Southgate.

And fans were less than convinced with Conor Gallagher's performance as the third central midfielder alongside Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham, despite his good form at club level with Chelsea - leaving supporters to question who fills that role in Germany.

One wrote: "Shaw has no competition for that LB spot."

A second added: "Kane and Shaw will need to be fit for any sort of chance in the Euros."

A third quipped: "If Luke Shaw isn't fit for the Euros, England are in trouble."

And a fourth said: "This is what happens when you take Harry Maguire off."

Another agreed: "Just proves that anything happens to England's original back four, then we are in trouble."

And one fan argued: "England go into Euro 2024 with the best midfield and attack they've had in decades but with a glaringly weak defence."
