But they are all but guaranteed to qualify from Group B, even with a defeat against Wales. If that result happens, England can only miss out if USA defeat Iran and Wales beat them by four goals or more.
Rob Page's side know that only a win will give them any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages following their 2-0 defeat to Iran.
But, barring the above scenario, a win would require the other result to go their way too, with an Iran win over USA definitely knocking them out.

Wales vs England will be officiated by Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic.

He has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2010, and regularly officiates high-profile European matches.
Vincic took charge of the 2022 Europa League final between Frankfurt and Rangers, as well as last season's Champions League quarter-final second leg tie between Bayern Munich and Villarreal.
He is Slovenia's sole refereeing representative at this year's World Cup, and officiated Argentina's shock 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia in Group C.
As per WhoScored, he has takeh charge of 12 recorded matches this season, including four Champions League ties. He has given out 47 yellow cards and two red cards.
