England Fan Tears Into 'Idiot' Gareth Southgate, Says He Doesn't Have A Clue And Wants Eddie Howe

England Fan Tears Into 'Idiot' Gareth Southgate, Says He Doesn't Have A Clue And Wants Eddie Howe

"I don’t think Southgate is good enough. The football is boring!"

An England fan has ruthlessly slammed Gareth Southgate, saying the football under him is 'boring' following their Nations League results.

Liverpool supporter David pulled no punches as he dropped a scathing review of Southgate after England played out a drab goalless draw against Italy on Saturday.

The Three Lions have just two points on the board in their Nations League campaign, having lost to Hungary and drawn with Germany and Italy.

England's only goal in their opening three matches came from Harry Kane's penalty against Germany, with Southgate coming under fire for his tactics.

England fan David has seen enough and reckons he's not good enough for the position, lambasting the football.

"I don’t think Southgate is good enough," he said on talkSPORT. "The football is boring!"

He bemoaned England's chances in the 2022 World Cup and called for a change.

"Do you reckon we'll get anywhere in the World Cup? We're not!" He added.

Carlton Palmer defended Southgate as he referenced England's form in their previous two tournaments.

But David hit back and claimed the national team won't win anything under Southgate.

He named Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe as a potential successor.

Speaking after his side's draw with Italy, Southgate highlighted the lack of 'sharpness' in front of goal.

"We had two or three really good chances we need to score, but just lacked that sharpness in front of goal," he said.

"You can see when you are pushing like we were in the second half, you don’t have any crowd to help you or put the opposition under any pressure."

England resume their Nations League venture next Tuesday when they host Hungary.
