Kevin De Bruyne produced a brilliant reaction as he made his way around the ground after being subbed.

Kevin De Bruyne had an ice-cold response when he had not one but TWO bottles thrown at him by Arsenal fans.

De Bruyne starred as Manchester City beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates to move top of the Premier League.

He opened the scoring with a superb finish, then turned provider as he set up Erling Haaland for his side's third goal.

De Bruyne's wizardry in the middle of the park proved too much for Arsenal - and their fans judging by their shocking behavour in the closing stages of the top-of-the-table clash.

In the 90th minute as De Bruyne made his way around the ground after being substituted, he had a few bottles thrown at him.

But he looked completely unfazed as he dodged the first bottle before cheekily winking in the direction of the Arsenal supporters.

The bottle-throwing incident involving De Bruyne got fans online talking.

One Twitter user wrote: "Irony of Arsenal fans throwing bottles at De Bruyne whilst their players start to bottle the league!"

A second tweeted: "Someone spent about £13 on a bottle of prime to lob it at De Bruyne they’ve lost their heads."

A third added: "De Bruyne gets a bottle of Prime “ice pop” thrown at him. Surprised there wasn’t a pitch invasion to grab it."

A fourth said: "Some sh*t stain just threw a bottle at De Bruyne.... totally uncalled for."

De Bruyne had the last laugh as his side leave London with all three points and climb above Arsenal in the league.
