Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has caused a stir with her latest Instagram post, with fans telling her to "cover up" and claiming she broke Saudi Arabian laws.

Georgina moved to the Middle Eastern country with beau in December and the 29-year-old Spanish influencer has posted a series of snaps showing her living the high life.

At first, the couple were staying in a Four Seasons hotel alongside other family and Ronaldo's entourage, racking up a £250,000-a-month bill.

They are now believed to have relocated to an exclusive compound but there was initial concern as in Saudi Arabia, it is illegal to live in the same house without being married and the two are yet to tie the knot.

However, they have been a special reprieve because of their high-profile status. But Rodriguez has caused a stir for another law which prohibits "over-exposed or semi-nude" images being posted.

The former Gucci shop assistant had previously refrained from doing so but showed off her figure in a series of scantily clad swimwear snaps around a swimming pool.

The post, which featured a "Riyadh - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" tag - accrued over 2 million likes and plenty of her 49.3 million followers chipped in with compliments.

Yet even though she was in her own home, many Saudi natives did not like the amount of flesh on show.

One fumed: "Cover up Georgina, may God fix you,"

A second said: "Cover up girl."

A third commented: "You should ask forgiveness from Allah.

Another user had the same view, writing: "May Allah guide you and guide Cristiano to Islam."

A fifth was offended and said: "Drinking and being naked in Saudi Arabia, is everything good?"

A final user opined: "I ask Allah for forgiveness, the purest land has become a station for people like you."

Lionel Messi and wife Antonela Roccuzzo were recently in Saudi Arabia for a controversial contractually obliged treat and the latter had to dress modestly.

That means prohibiting clothing which is tight fitted, see-through and has necklines on show. In various pictures, Mrs Messi was seeing wearing jumpsuits but also dressing with the expected decorum.
