If IShowSpeed has one dream in life then it’s probably to be acknowledged by his ‘hero’ Cristiano Ronaldo.

Well, he sorta got his wish.

The hilarious YouTuber, in typical fashion, has gone and claimed that the Manchester United player acknowledged him in a new Adidas video.

The 17-year-old internet star has long made his obsession with the Portuguese star known.

He’s created a song about the five-time Ballon D’or Winner titled ‘Ronaldo [Sewey]’ whilst he’s made every attempt at getting the legendary player’s attention.

It seems like some fans thought it would be funny to let Speed know that his icon actually mentioned his name in a new ad.

In a new Adidas video that featured the likes of Manchester United stars past and present, the likes of David Beckham, Eric Cantona, and Ronaldo himself, the number seven seems to have uttered his biggest fan’s name.

The video begins by showing each player mentioning an attribute they possess.

When it gets to Ronaldo he says just one word: “Speed.”

And if anyone has watched Speed before they know exactly what his reaction is going to be.

The teenager goes nuts in his room as he screams live on stream in absolute astonishment that the man himself mentioned his name.

Of course, the United star wasn’t particularly referencing the YouTuber when he said ‘speed’, however, many fans believe Adidas intentionally made the superstar say that word for a reason.

One fan commented: “Adidas knew what they were doing.”

Another said: “I know for a fact that was intentional.”

While another wrote: “Who’s gonna tell him?”

I mean, the legendary footballer could have very well been shouting out his favourite fan, considering he does indeed know who Speed is.

When streaming with Ronaldo’s former teammate Jesse Lingard, the Nottingham Forest player claimed the footballer knew who he was.

Lingard told Speed at the time: “The GOAT knows you bro. Everyday me and others would be like Sui, Sui. Bro trust me, he knows you bro.”

Of course, Speed was ecstatic with the news.
