New Figures Reveal How Much Cristiano Ronaldo Can Earn From Just ONE Instagram Post

Ronaldo recently became the first person to pass 400 million followers on Instagram.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most followed person on Instagram and new figures have revealed just how much the Manchester United star can earn with a single post.

Ronaldo became the first person to reach 400 million followers shortly after his 37th birthday on Saturday.

He now has nearly 100 million more followers than his closest rival, Kylie Jenner, who has around 309 million.

Ronaldo’s followers have grown by an incredible 163 million in just the last five months and his huge earning potential through Instagram has now been revealed.

According to betting experts OLGB, Ronaldo could earn a whopping £1.72m per sponsored post.

That’s more than triple his reported weekly wage of around £480,000 at Old Trafford.

Forbes estimate that Ronaldo earned $120m (£88.6m) in 2021, putting him third on the list for the year behind Conor McGregor and his great rival Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo is reported to have earned around $70m (£51.7m) from his salaries and winnings at Juventus and Manchester United, with the other $50m (£40m) coming from sponsorships deals and other sources of income off the pitch.

According to The Athletic, Ronaldo faces a potential salary reduction of 25 per cent next season if Manchester United miss out on the Champions League.

The Red Devils are currently fourth in the table but West Ham, Arsenal, Tottenham and Wolves are all within four points of Ralf Rangnick’s side.

Ronaldo missed a first-half penalty on Friday as Manchester United were dumped out of the FA Cup by Championship side Middlesbrough.

With the match goalless after extra-time, Anthony Elanga missed the crucial spot kick for United to send Middlesbrough through to the fifth round with a 8-7 win on penalties.

United will hope to bounce back when they travel to face Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
