Cristian Romero laughed in Harry Maguire's face after he scored an own-goal, just to be at fault for Cristiano Ronaldo's headed winner.

Romero showed no mercy as he produced a sh*thouse moment after the Manchester United captain converted in his own net to make it 2-2.

After Maguire slotted the ball past David De Gea, the Argentine defender approached his counterpart and laughed directly in his face.

But less than 10 minutes later, Romero failed to keep out Ronaldo who rose the highest and headed home to make it 3-2.

Fans online mocked his decision to taunt Maguire after his side was ultimately on the losing end at Old Trafford.

Life comes at you fast, Cristian.

Roy Keane and Michael Dawson also slammed Romero's decision to mock Maguire, with the former Spurs defender saying: "It comes back to haunt you, things like that."

The defeat, meanwhile, leaves Antonio Conte's team in seventh place, with two games in hand over Manchester United who climbed above Arsenal to fourth spot.
