Cody Gakpo has confirmed he won't make a final decision about his future until the World Cup in Qatar is over.

Gakpo, 23, looks destined to leave PSV Eindhoven after impressing for the Netherlands during the tournament.

He has already scored three goals in Qatar, helping the Dutch reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

A number of European football's biggest clubs have been linked with Gakpo, including several Premier League sides.

Arsenal and Liverpool are thought to be interested in the forward, who has scored 13 goals and provided 17 assists for PSV this season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are thought to be at the front of the queue to sign Gakpo, who has confirmed that he held talks with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag in the summer.

United 'agree deal in principle with Gakpo'

Football Insider claim United have already agreed a deal in principle with Gakpo over a potential January signing.

But it remains to be seen whether United will stump up the cash needed to sign the winger from PSV.

Foot Mercato claim the Dutch club have increased their asking price for the winger to €60m (£51.6m) based on his current form at the World Cup.

This could rise even further if he continues to impress, with the Netherlands taking on Argentina in their quarter-final on Friday.

Gakpo: My focus is on the World Cup

Gakpo has played down suggestions a deal has already been agreed and insists his only focus right now is on winning the World Cup.

"I have to be honest, I am not thinking about that now," said Gakpo, when asked about the reports linking him with an exit from PSV.

"I am focused on the tournament and want to keep performing well, to keep helping the team.

"Hopefully when we become world champions we can think about other things.

"I try to keep focused and the other players don't really speak about that kind of thing."
