The wife of new Arsenal signing Jakub Kiwior has sent a message to Gunners fans after completing his £17.6m move to the Emirates in the January window.

Arsenal snapped up Kiwior from Serie A side Spezia, with the 22-year-old Polish defender signing a deal until 2027 with the Gunners.

Kiwior made 43 appearances for his former side ahead of his transfer to Arsenal and featured in all of Poland’s matches at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been keen to reinforce his squad ahead of the window closing, with the Gunners leading the Premier League title race this season.

Kiwior’s partner, Claudia Kowalczyk, has already shared her excitement by posting the message of “London, I’m ready” alongside a photo of herself on her Instagram.

Kowalczyk said she ‘appreciated’ the kind words shared with her from fans, and she was also “so proud” of her husband’s move to the current Premier League leaders.

“Thank you for all for your messages. I can’t reply to everyone, but I really appreciate it,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Kowalczyk boasts a whopping 56.7k followers on Instagram and has shared explicit photos and videos of her twerking exploits.

She proudly has in her bio her semi-finalist accolade at the 2018 European Twerk Championship, along with winning the 2017 Queen of Twerking Competition in Germany.

Following Kiwior’s move to Arsenal, Arteta praised the “versatile” Poland international after showcasing his “huge potential” for club and country.

“He’s a young versatile defender who has shown huge potential and qualities with Spezia in Serie A, and also at international level with Poland,” he said.

“Jakub is a player who will give us strength and quality to our defensive unit. We welcome Jakub and his family to Arsenal and look forward to working with him.”
