Chelsea fans think Graham Potter is 'starting to show personality' after he drops F-bomb in rousing speech

Graham Potter swore at a Chelsea fan event.

Chelsea fans are loving Graham Potter's defiant message about the Champions League as he dropped an F-bomb.

The Blues are languishing in 10th place in the Premier League and won't be able to add any domestic silverware to their trophy cabinet this season.

But they remain in the Champions League, having booked their spot in the quarter-finals following their 2-1 aggregate victory over Borussia Dortmund.

And Potter is hoping to steer his side to their third European trophy following their triumphs in 2012 and 2021 against Bayern Munich and Manchester City respectively.

The 47-year-old spoke passionately about winning the 'Big Ears' trophy at a fan event, saying 'we will try and win the f**king Champions League.'

Speaking ahead of the Champions League quarter-final draw and his team's league game against Everton, he said: "We will try and beat Everton, take the draw and then we will try and win the f**king Champions League."

Needless to say, Potter's exuberant message about Chelsea's European campaign got fans online talking.

One Twitter user wrote: "This is a level of boldness I haven't seen from Potter yet. I like it."

A second tweeted: "From Graham Potter to the fans. He actually has a bit of personality, go on GAFFA!"

A third added: "If he continues like this he will be a winner."

A fourth said: "Love it that’s what I want to hear from my manager."

Another commented: "This an example of what wins can do to the confidence of everyone.. Nice to see him smiling and feeling confident."

Potter's Chelsea await their Champions League fate as they could face Bayern Munich, Benfica, Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid or Manchester City in the next round of the competition.

Will they go all the way? Let us know what you think.
