How good was that? European champions Chelsea and top four hopefuls Arsenal just gave us one of the most entertaining halves of Premier League football this season in an action-packed clash at Stamford Bridge.

Mikel Arteta decided to give Eddie Nketiah a chance to prove himself in Wednesday's clash and the 22-year-old repaid that faith with a 13th-minute opener.

Nketiah seized on an awful pass from Andreas Christensen and slotted past Edouard Mendy with a cool finish.

Arsenal's slender lead didn't last long, though. Thomas Tuchel's side issued an instant response when Timo Werner's deflected strike trickled past Aaron Ramsdale. The German continued his fine run of form with this finish.

Ten minutes later, after some superb end-to-end action at Stamford Bridge, the visitors took the lead again through England international Emile Smith Rowe.

It was a superb team goal from the Gunners – a piece of play that started with an outrageous Granit Xhaka nutmeg on Marcos Alonso on the edge of his own box.

You can see that cracking goal below.

And the first-half action didn't slow down from there. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta managed to get his toe on the end of a Mason Mount cross to make it 2-2.

It was another great finish in what has been one of the most entertaining 45 minutes of football you'll see this season.

Who will come out on top at Stamford Bridge?

Let us know in the comments.
