Bruno Fernandes has hit back at Richard Keysā recent comments about Manchester United āplaying with ten menā.
On Sunday, Erik ten Hagās men took on Brendan Rodgersā Leicester City side at Old Trafford.
Goals from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho secured a comfortable 3-0 win for United.
Despite a good win, Keys was very critical of Unitedās January loan signing Wout Weghorst.

He said: āYouāre playing with ten men most weeks if heās [Weghorst] in.
āI mean, he doesnāt do enough to justify a starting place does he? Come on, letās be honest!ā
On the back of the criticism that has been directed Weghorstās way, Fernandes has defended the Dutch striker.
He said to MUTV: āSometimes itās like this, you want the ball to go in and itās a matter of time.
āAs a striker, you always want to score goals but heās doing his job, doing a lot of runs that we need, the pressure that we need.
āThis is why heās still playing. Itās a matter of time until he gets his goals. After he gets the first he will open something that will give him more and more goals so he can help the team even more.ā
United are currently basking in great form as they continue to fight in all four major competitions.
Ten Hag has the chance to get his hands on his first trophy as United boss when he takes his side to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final, with Newcastle United standing in their way.

Before that, United have the small matter of the second leg Europa League playoff tie against Barcelona after last weekās thrilling 2-2 draw.
Ahead of the match, the Red Devils boss sent a clear message to the United fans: āI said come Thursday. It's a big game, make sure you are there and we beat Barcelona together.
āI thank the fans for their trust in me. I feel committed with this club, I love to be here but it's not in my influence.ā
Will United win all four trophies? Only time will tell.
