‘Agent Bruno’ is trending - Man United fans are buzzing about huge potential double signing

‘Agent Bruno’ is trending - Man United fans are buzzing about huge potential double signing

Ramos started and scored three as Portugal beat Switzerland in the World Cup

‘Agent Bruno’ is trending on Twitter after the Manchester United star posted pictures with hat-trick hero Goncalo Ramos after Portugal’s win over Switzerland on Tuesday night.

The 2016 Euro winners were in scintillating form as goals from Ramos, Pepe, Raphael Guerriero and Rafael Leao sealed a resounding 6-1 victory over the Swiss.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the main talking in the build-up as he was named on the bench, with Ramos picked by Portugal manager Fernando Santos to lead the attack.

Ramos duly repaid the manager’s faith as he netted three times to take home the match ball.

After the match, United star Bruno Fernandes posted pictures of him celebrating with Ramos, which led to ‘Agent Bruno’ being one of the top trends on Twitter.

United fans have tasked Fernandes to put on the charm to persuade Ramos and fellow Portuguese star Joao Felix to join him at Old Trafford.

One fan said: “Agent Bruno, you know what to do.”

Another tweeted: “Agent Bruno make this transfer a reality.”

A third added: “Joao Felix is wasted at Atletico Madrid perhaps agent Bruno can save him?”

Someone else wrote: “Damn tell agent Bruno to bring Ramos with him to United.”

21-year-old Ramos was heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain in the summer but a move never materialised, partly due to Benfica having sold Darwin Nunez to Liverpool already.

In terms of Felix, the 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for the last few years.

His future at Atletico Madrid is becoming increasingly uncertain, with the club’s CEO, Miguel Angel Gil Marin confirming that an exit is likely.

“I think he has the highest level in the world but for reasons that are not worth going into now, the relationship between the coach and him is not good, nor is his motivation,” he told TVE.

“The reasonable thing is to think that he leaves, although I would love him to continue, but, this is not the player’s idea.”

With the January transfer window coming up, it is likely that Felix could make a move away, and United will for sure be in the race to sign him.
