Brooklyn Beckham’s father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, has spoken out and offered his thoughts on the ongoing Beckham family feud.
On January 19, Brooklyn posted a scathing statement in which he accused his parents, David and Victoria, of consistently disrespecting his American actress wife, Nicola Peltz, as well as claiming his mother effectively sabotaged the pair’s first dance at their 2022 wedding.
The 26-year-old Cloud 23 owner also made clear that he does “not want to reconcile” with his parents before adding that “I’m not being controlled”.
Brooklyn went on to accuse his family of placing “countless lies in the media” to “preserve their own façade” before also claiming his parents “pressured” him into “signing away the rights” to his name before he married Peltz.

He also suggested that his father only agreed to meet him ahead of his 50th birthday back in May 2025 on the condition that Nicola “wasn’t invited”.

Brooklyn finished the lengthy statement by asking for “peace, privacy and happiness” for himself and his wife.
Victoria and David have not directly addressed their eldest son’s claims, although the former footballer did say that “you have to let your children make mistakes” when he spoke on CNBC’s financial program Squawk Box.
And just when interest appeared to have cooled, Nicola’s billionaire father, Nelson, has spoken out on his son-in-law’s feud with his parents.
Speaking at WSJ Invest Live in West Palm Beach, the 83-year-old refused to become embroiled in a discussion about Brooklyn’s feud with his parents.

“My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story, and that’s not for coverage here today,” Nelson said.
“I’ll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law, Brooklyn, is great, and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”
He was then asked if he gave the couple advice on the challenging situation, to which he replied: “I do. Sometimes they give me advice.”
Who is Nelson Peltz, and how did he make his fortune?
Although he is the father of a world renowned actress, Nelson has achieved a lot in his own career. The New York-born investor, according to Forbes, is worth $1.6 billion.
The American founded the investment firm Trian Fund Management, which has around $8.5 billion in assets under management.
Nelson has also been involved with Procter & Gamble and Heinz & Kraft Foods, as well as several other companies.
The investor has been married to former fashion model Claudia Heffner Peltz since 1995.
