Manchester United will be hoping to make a quick recovery in today's game against Brentford following their surprise home defeat to Brighton last weekend.

Ten Hag's side lost 2-1 to the Seagulls in their campaign opener, while Brentford drew 2-2 with Leicester City in their first match.

According to the BBC, United's most recent loss in this fixture was 2-0 away in the FA Cup in February 1938.

Here's everything you need to know about the today's game.

Is Brentford vs Man United on TV? Channel and live stream

Yes, Brentford vs Man United will be on Television. It will be shown live on Sky Sports main event, and coverage will begin at 5PM ahead of kick-off half an hour later.

The match will also be able to be streamed on Sky Go.

Brentford team news:

New signing Mikkel Damsgaard is available for the game, but he will likely feature off the bench as head coach Thomas Frank has said the Denmark international isn't ready to start.

Ethan Pinnock, Kristoffer Ajer and Sergi Canos are all unavailable due to injury.

Man United team news:

Ten Hag revealed ahead of the game that neither Anthony Martial or Victor Lindelof will be fit for today's game, after missing the previous fixture with Brighton.

There is also a major question over whether Cristiano Ronaldo will start, and the United manager had this to say about it:

"So, he had a good training week, I thought he played a little bit longer than half an hour [against Brighton], I would say he now has two half a games,”

“The starting XI, we will see tomorrow. I, of course, have made my decision but I [will] keep it.”
