Julian Nagelsmann reveals there is a ‘mole’ in the Bayern Munich dressing room as tactics leaked

Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann is fuming at the ‘mole’ who leaked his tactics to the public.

Earlier in the week, German news outlet Sport Bild published original documents that the Bayern coaching team show the players.

The documents included specific tactical details for each player and accompanying notes about how each player should move in different situations.

Leaked documents also included a phrase of play labelled as ‘joker’ which is likely to be used to surprise the opponents.

As expected, Nagelsmann has been left fuming over the leaks and did not hold back during his press conference ahead of the Bundesliga clash against Bayern Leverkusen.

He said: “It annoys me. The person who leaks something harms each of the players, this is not the goal.

“Moles are a protected species so the search is very, very complicated. What is important to me is to be able to look at myself in the mirror. For this person, it will be hard to look in the mirror.

“I’m thinking a lot about it because I ask myself: what is the purpose of the person leaking it, what are they hoping for? The motive is not clear to me.

“It couldn’t be for financial reasons. It makes it easier for the opponent.”

On Friday afternoon, Bayern found out their route to the final of the Champions League.

The Bavarian club will take on English champions Manchester City in the quarter finals before facing either Chelsea or Real Madrid in the semi final stage.

On the draw, Nagelsmann said: “It's a good, challenging draw. You can't say we were lucky with the draw when we win the Champions League.

“The group stage was difficult, then PSG, City and Real or Chelsea in the semis. It would be an extremely valuable triumph. Real won it last year, we want to do it this year. It gives me a lot of energy and anticipation.”

Can Bayern go all the way and lift the Champions League trophy this season? Only time will tell.
