Three players who could leave Barca in the next few days score against Manchester City

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay could all leave the Nou Camp in the next eight days and all scored.

All three of Barcelona's goal scorers in their friendly against Manchester City on Wednesday night might be leaving the club in the next eight days.

On Wednesday night, Barcelona welcomed City to the Nou Camp in what might have seemed like a surprising friendly to have so soon after the season started.

It was at least for a good cause, as the two clubs attempted to make money for an ALS charity in support of former Barcelona goalkeeper and coach Juan Carlos Unzue.

For Barca, there was certainly the advantage of giving Ansu Fati, still on the way back from injury, and Jules Kounde, not yet registered for the league, some decent playing time.

It also may have given some of the players the chance to say goodbye to their fans, with Xavi still looking to trim some unwanted stars out of his squad.

With the transfer window slamming shut, the only way it can close traditionally, on September 1st, they have just over a week to get rid of any players.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay could all be headed for the exit door in the very near future and hilariously it was this trio who got the goals, as the sides drew 3-3.

Aubameyang, expected to head to Chelsea just seven months after leaving the Premier League for La Liga, got the home side's first, after Julian Alvarez had put the visitors ahead, much to the delight of Blues fans.

Next up it was De Jong's turn, with the midfielder the beneficiary of a rare poor pass from Kevin de Bruyne, to put his team ahead for the first time on the night.

The Dutchman has been at the centre of the most intense transfer rumours, not just for Barcelona but in football and not just this summer, possibly ever.

He is still somehow hanging on to his desire to stay with the Catalan giants, who owe him around £17 million, despite interest from Manchester United and latterly Chelsea, and possibly even Bayern Munich.

Cole Palmer then made it 2-2 in the 70th minute but parity lasted less than 10 minutes this time, with Depay, on as a substitute, adding his name to the list of ironic scorers.

The former United forward got on the end of what seemed like a move straight from City's play book, getting on the end of a cross from Sergi Roberto.

Depay looks certain to move this summer as well, with Juventus the most likely destination, although in typical fashion a return to Old Trafford has also been mentioned.

It was certainly a good way for the trio to probably say farewell to the Nou Camp, their teammates and all the fans, but it didn't end in victory.

Late in injury time, Erling Haaland was given a very generous penalty and Riyad Mahrez slotted home the spot kick, to make sure things finished level.
