Fans were far from impressed with Aymeric Laporte's antics during Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final clash after the defender was involved in a 'heated altercation' with Luka Modric.
In the opening stages at the Bernabeu, Los Blancos midfielder Casemiro brought down Bernardo Silva and, in all honesty, the Brazilian was lucky to avoid a yellow card.
A group of Manchester City players then proceeded to crowd around the referee before Modric and Laporte 'clashed'.

After what appeared to be a light push from the experienced Real Madrid midfielder, Laporte then collapsed to the ground while holding his neck.
Both players received bookings for the altercation but people on social media slated the Spanish defender for his 'overdramatic' reaction during the Champions League semi-final second leg.
"Laporte should be off," said one Twitter user. "Imagine slapping someone and going down holding your own face. The absolute height of embarrassment."
Another wrote: "Absolutely embarrassing from Laporte. Imagine that from your big centre back."
A third commented: "This is ridiculous and disgusting. Laporte slaps Modric, then throws himself to the ground and holding his face pretending that HE got slapped. WTF??? Needs to be punished."

Ahead of Wednesday's semi-final tie in Madrid, City defender Laporte said the club are relishing the challenge.
“Madrid will be exciting. We played a really good game in the first half and now we have to finish that,” he said.
“Every single game is very important and we have to win everything. We enjoy the games but also we know that we have to reach our target and this is very important for us and very difficult.
“So, we are happy but we have to keep winning.”
