German Football Fan Hailed As A Hero For Somehow Balancing Three Beers And A Phone On His Head

Not all heroes wear capes.

A football fan over in Germany left onlookers well and truly stunned after he was seen balancing three beers on his head during a Bundesliga 2 match.

Incredibly, the flawless technique actually involved wedging his mobile phone between the pints to make some sort of makeshift platform – making the stunt all the more amazing.

Unsurprisingly, the bloke has now been hailed a hero for his balancing act.

Schalke managed to secure a 3-2 win over St Pauli to extend their stay at the top of Germany's second division and secure promotion back into the Bundesliga.

The players dug deep to steal a victory with less than 12 minutes to go, but the show was well and truly stolen by a legendary supporter.

Even with the nail-biting game going down to the wire, one fan showed an incredible display of composure as he casually strolled back to his seat with three beers balanced on his head.

Fist-bumping and receiving pats on the back didn't seem to bother him either as he was welcomed back to his seat with a round of applause.

When footage of the wild scenes emerged on social media, football fans were quick to heap praise on the bloke for his majestic efforts.

Even daring to attempt such a stunt is one thing, but perfecting it and not dropping a single bit of beer is even more impressive.

Well played, sir.

And by the looks of things, the Schalke supporter has been a repeat offender of this throughout the 2021/22 season.

From NRL to AFL, cricket to rugby — you name it, Max watches it (with a beer in hand, of course). During his time at Fox Sports, he worked in the football department covering the Premier League, A-League, Socceroos and Matildas. Born a stone's throw away from West Ham's training ground, Max is obviously a die-hard Liverpool fan.
