Fresh footage emerges of Partey ‘arriving’ at the Arsenal hotel despite reports he's set to miss Man City clash

Fresh footage has emerged of Thomas Partey appearing to arrive separately at the Arsenal team hotel despite fears he is injured for the Gunners’ clash against Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side welcome City to the Emirates Stadium this evening in a crucial top-of-the-table contest.

Arsenal are three points ahead of City at the Premier League summit, though their title ambitions have been compromised somewhat having not claimed a win in their last two games.

Indeed, should City take all three points at the Emirates it would see the reigning champions move to the top of the table on goal difference while the momentum in the title race would much swing in favour of the Manchester side.

Indeed, it now is now also being widely reported that Arsenal will have to play the crucial encounter without key midfielder Partey.

Fresh footage appears to show Partey arriving at the team hotel in his own car, separate from the rest of the Arsenal squad.

Indeed, in the six-second clip, the 29-year-old seems to be wearing an Arsenal tracksuit, which has led some supporters on social media to question the veracity of the injury claims.

A picture has also been shared online of the player, again in an Arsenal tracksuit, appearing to arrive at the Emirates alongside the rest of the team.

Earlier today The Athletic’s Arsenal guru David Ornstein claimed Partey is expected to miss the Premier League match against City with a muscular injury.

Though the Ghana international was expected to start, having trained with his teammates on Tuesday, a late injury setback will allegedly see him miss out.

Reports claim the injury is not thought to be serious, though is a significant blow ahead of Arsenal's crucial match.

Partey having been central to Arteta’s side’s success this term, having started 19 of their 21 matches.
