Footage capturing Gabriel Jesus’ incredible assist during Arsenal’s Europa League tie against Bodo/Glimt has gone viral.

With his side already 2-0 up after first-half goals by Eddie Nketiah and Rob Holding, Mikel Arteta decided to throw on his star man Jesus in the 58th minute.

During his cameo, he showed his magic as he provided a stunning assist for Fabio Vieira to score the Gunners’ third goal of the night.

The Brazilian picked up the ball towards the by-line and jinxed his way through the Bodo/Glimt defence with some very neat footwork and skill, before playing a perfect ball for Vieira to easily tap home. You can watch the footage below.

It was a truly wonderful bit of play from a player who has lit up his Arsenal career since his summer move from Manchester City.

The fan who captured the moment, Julian Rosa described it as the ‘best moment of my life btw’.

Other fans also showed their appreciation on social media.

One said: “No one can stop Gabriel Jesus, what an assist.”

Another tweeted: “Fabio Viera scores but all the credit goes to Gabriel Jesus who delivers an INSANE assist!”

A third fan added: “Put that Arsenal goal in a museum. Jesus with an elite and mesmeric assist for Vieira, who has had a magnificent game.”

Jesus’ moment of magic also seemed to have caught Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s attention.

Klopp spoke ahead of his side’s trip to face the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

He said: “The third goal last night was a nice set-up, so he is full of confidence – plus [he has] the quality of top-class players around him. He’s flying in this moment; that’s clear. If you’re not playing against them, it’s easy to enjoy what he’s doing. We need to make sure he stops flying for a weekend.”

Arsenal are currently basking in great form as they sit top of the Premier League table with 21 points. If they beat Liverpool on Sunday, they will pull 14 points ahead of Klopp’s faltering Reds.

Who will win the much-anticipated clash on Sunday? Only time will tell.
