Arsenal fans show off chant for Mohamed Elneny, it is absolutely brilliant

Arsenal fans gave a brilliant rendition of Mohamed Elneny’s chant during their FA Cup clash against Oxford United on Monday night.

Mikel Arteta’s men produced a professional second-half performance as they ran out 3-0 winners against the League One side. Mohamed Elneny scored the opener in the 63rd minute and a brace from Eddie Nketiah sealed the win.

After Elneny found the back of the net to send the travelling fans into a jubilant mood, they responded by belting out their brilliant chant for the Egyptian midfielder. You can watch the footage below.

Arsenal fans took The Beatles’ hit ‘Twist and Shout’ and made it all about Elneny.

The chant went: “Come on, Come on, Come on Elneny now. Come on Elneny. Work it all out.

“You know you twist so good. Twist so good. You know you twist so fine. Twist so fine.

“Come on, Come on, Come on Elneny now.”

Next up for Arsenal in the FA Cup will be a much tougher test as they are up against Manchester City.

During his post-match interview, Arteta praised Nketiah’s performance.

He said: “Obviously he’s been waiting for this moment.

“He’s been patient when he needed to be but as well he’s been with the right mindset and preparing himself for this moment.

“He’s a great finisher, the timing of his runs and the decision-making in waiting until the last moment when the keeper was committed shows his quality.”

Arsenal will be back in Premier League action this weekend, they will be up against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Saturday.

After such a promising start to the season, it remains to be seen whether they can sustain their title charge and get their hands on the Premier League trophy for the first time since the 03/04 campaign.
