Arsenal central defender Gabriel Maghalaes has been in fine form this season and he owes much of that to his manager Mikel Arteta.
The relationship between the pair is clearly close, with Gabriel featuring in every Premier League game under Arteta this term (he's one of six Arsenal players to boast that mantle).
But Arsenal fans have gone a little too far in their presumptions about the relationship, with some on social media mistakenly thinking Gabriel had a giant poster of Arteta on his wall at home when they saw a recent Instagram story from the Brazilian.

Gabriel posed with his girlfriend in the snap along with the caption "our time" – and fans thought he was at home, but with a big picture of his manager behind him.
"Nah am I going crazy or does this f***ing guy have a giant poster of Mikel Arteta on his wall," posted one eagle-eyed fan, with a screenshot of the Instagram story.
It turns out the picture has actually been taken somewhere in the Emirates Stadium, or in Arsenal's London Colney training ground – with Arsenal memorabilia and posters plastered all over the walls – rather than at Gabriel's home.

Another fan helpfully pointed out that Leandro Trossard and Ben White had recently conducted an in-house club interview in the same room, with the same photograph of Arteta looming over them. "They're at the place Ben White and Trossard filmed this video in," they replied.
Gabriel clearly loves Arteta... but he doesn't love him that much.
Arteta recently spoke about the relationship between Gabriel and his centre-back partner William Saliba, comparing the pair to a happy married couple.

“They are a happy marriage,” said the Arsenal boss.
“They love playing with each other, but they are really demanding with each other which is good. Everything is fine.”
