Real Madrid, PSG and Chelsea set to rival Arsenal for €60m striker, he's been compared to Brazil icon Pele

The young Brazilian is wanted by many European clubs.

Arsenal are set to face competition for the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.

Reports suggest both Real Madrid and Chelsea are interested, while Paris Saint-Germain are said to be "in love" with the 16-year-old.

Endrick currently plays for Brazilian club Palmeiras and is considered one of the hottest prospects in South American football.

He has been linked with a number of European giants in recent months including the Gunners, who have reportedly sent scouts to watch him play.

Last season, when he was still 15, Endrick bagged nine goals in 12 appearances as his side became Brazilian champions.

What has been said about the future of Endrick?

The latest update regarding the young Brazilian comes from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier this week, he tweeted: "Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are the three clubs that are pushing hard to sign Endrick. They are ahead of all the other clubs.

"There's no official bids to Palmeiras yet - but it will happen soon. Release clause: €60m. Endrick would join in 2024."

Romano then quoted that tweet with a further update on Wednesday, which read: "Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain & Chelsea. Frontrunners, pushing to sign Endrick. Confirmed and still no breakthrough in negotiations with any club."

In an interview with The Week, Endrick addressed his future: "I try not to think about the future. My focus is on the present, always on the next game," he said.

"I have to give myself as much as possible on the field, so that I can help the team. Everything else happens in God’s time.

"I defend the colours of a great club, which gives me everything I need to play at the highest level. My family and the people around me help me stay focused."

He then went on to discuss how much of an idol Cristiano Ronaldo is to him but admitted he would not like to compare himself to the Portuguese forward.
