Antony broke down in tears after being named in Brazil manager Tite's 26-man World Cup squad.

The Manchester United winger has scored three Premier League goals since arriving from Ajax in the summer. He's missed United's last three games after picking up an injury last month, however.

It weighed on his mind on Monday as the Selecao's squad for this month's tournament in Qatar was confirmed.

Antony was watching the squad announcement with family and friends, immediately leaping out of his seat after hearing his name called. Check out the footage below.

The 22-year-old jumped up and down with everyone else in the room before hugging one person in particular.

Antony's face got redder and redder as his grip got tighter. All those years of sacrifices were clearly worth it.

Other Premier League forwards included in the squad are Arsenal duo Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli as well as Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison.

One notable omission is Roberto Firmino, despite a fine start to the season with Liverpool. Former Leeds United winger Raphinha, now of Barcelona, makes it in despite a tough start to life at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Check out the official 26-man squad in full below:

Goalkeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Ederson (Manchester City) and Weverton (Palmeiras)

Defenders: Daniel Alves (Pumas) Danilo (Juventus) Alex Sandro (Juventus) and Alex Telles (Sevilla) Bremer (Juventus), Éder Militão (Real Madrid), Marquinhos (PSG) and Thiago Silva (Chelsea)

Midfielders: Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle), Casemiro (Manchester United), Fabinho (Liverpool) and Fred (Manchester United) Everton Ribeiro (Flamengo) and Lucas Paquetá (West Ham)

Forwards: Antony (Manchester United), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Neymar (PSG), Pedro (Flamengo), Raphinha (Barcelona), Richarlison (Tottenham), Rodrygo (Real Madrid) and Vini Jr (Real Madrid)

Brazil have been placed in Group G alongside Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.

They kick-off their search for a first World Cup triumph in 20 years against Serbia on November 24.

Alongside South American rivals Argentina, they've been tipped as one of the favourites at the tournament.
