Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson leave each other in hysterics with impressions of Liverpool stars

The two Liverpool full-backs were asked to do impersonations of their Anfield teammates

Everyone knows about Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson's close friendship as Liverpool teammates.

And now the two full-backs have left each other in hysterics of laughter when asked to do impressions of their teammates in Jurgen Klopp's side.

The two took part in Amazon Prime Video Sport's 'Make Me Smile' series, in which they attempted to make the other one laugh.

The five rounds included impressions, of teammates, a staring contest, dad jokes, drawings of one another and then simply 'make some noise'.

It was the impressions round that caused the most hilarity, with Alexander-Arnold prompting roars of laughter from Robertson with his impression of Jordan Henderson.

He said: "F****** haway, you've got to be f****** joking. It's a f****** foul man, you've got to be f****** joking."

The right-back won the impressions round, the stare-down was a dead heat between the two and then Alexander-Arnold lost out in the da jokes. Robertson then pulled it back in the noises around and it was judged a draw.

The video is likely to go down well with Liverpool fans, who will already be in a great mood this week following their side's incredible 7-0 demolition of Manchester United on Sunday.

Before the United game, Alexander-Arnold spoke about how it 'burned' it see Erik ten Hag's side lift a trophy the previous week in the shape of the Carabao Cup.

"I watched the game, but as soon as they were getting ready for the trophy lift I turned off," he said.

"I thought, ‘There is no way I am watching that’. Knowing they lifted that trophy? It burns. Oh yeah. It definitely burns.

"It shows you how football changes very quickly. Look at Arsenal. At the end of last season, everyone was talking about failure for not making the top four. All of a sudden they are leading in the title race. In football terms, these changes really do happen overnight."
