Details surrounding Red Bull's 2026 F1 car have emerged online - with the team reportedly set to change a major car part.

The 2026 season will see the introduction of a raft of regulation changes, largely relating to aerodynamics and power units.

Each car will have more battery power and use 100 per cent sustainable fuels, while the Drag Reduction System (DRS) has been scrapped and replaced by an active front and rear wing aerodynamic system.

Two new power unit manufacturers - Audi and Ford - are to enter F1, with Audi operating a factory team after taking over Sauber.

Honda also make their return to the sport, partnering with Aston Martin.

The Japanese car manufacturer initially decided to quit F1 in 2021, though partnered with Red Bull and Racing Bulls through their power unit technology to form Red Bull Powertrains, which has since supplied both teams.

Ford will take over engine manufacturing for Red Bull from 2026 in what could potentially be a significant change.

Their 2026 car will be unveiled at a launch event in Detroit, Michigan on January 25 - and could feature a number of alterations that fans might not be expecting.

According to Italian outlet AutoRacer, Red Bull will abandon their long-term car design of having a pullrod suspension at the front, with that being replaced by a pushrod suspension at both the front and the rear.

Max Verstappen will start the season in pursuit of his fifth Drivers' Championship, having missed out on the accolade in 2025 by two points to McLaren's Lando Norris.

He will have a new team-mate, with Isack Hadjar promoted from Racing Bulls to replace Yuki Tsunoda.

Arvid Lindblad will take over Hadjar's seat at Racing Bulls, with Tsunoda acting as a reserve driver for both teams across the 2026 season.
