Max Verstappen has doubled down on his dig towards McLaren and Lando Norris.
During the 2025 Formula 1 season, Verstappen and Norris, along with Oscar Piastri, were involved in a tense world title fight.
In the end, it was McLaren star Norris who came out on top, clinching his maiden world championship by just two points.
Back in November, Verstappen aimed a dig at Norris and Piastri after saying that he would've won the title earlier in the season if he had been driving the McLaren.

As per ESPN, he said: "We wouldn't be talking about a championship. It would already have been won, easily.
"I mean they won the constructors' championship so early that yeah ... you can fill it in yourself."
At the time, Norris was asked about Verstappen's claims, the Brit replied: "Max is very welcome to say everything he wants, to be honest. He’s kind of earned the right. You know, he’s won four World Championships. I have a lot of respect and I think that gives anyone a lot of credit.
"He’s achieved an incredible amount – more than anyone generally dreams of achieving. So, you know, Max generally has a good clue about a lot of things, but there’s also a lot of things he doesn’t have much of a clue about. It’s also Red Bull’s way of going about things, this kind of aggressive nature and, yeah, just talking nonsense a lot of the time."

Speaking recently to Dutch publication Formule1.nl, via Motorsport Week, Verstappen doubled down on those claims.
The 28-year-old said: "Haha, but that’s just a fact! It’s not meant to be provocative. Not consciously or unconsciously.
"It’s just a fact. And no one has to agree with that, but that’s how I feel about it."
Verstappen continued: "That’s my opinion. Some people won’t like to hear it, but ultimately that’s not my problem.
"I’m not saying it to rile anyone up or provoke them, but when I’m asked a question, I usually just answer it. And yes, it’s a fact."
After losing the world title and the No.1 on his car, Verstappen has been confirmed as the No.3 for the 2026 season, with Norris taking over the No.1.
