Mercedes have announced a special plan for Lewis Hamilton's final race before leaving for Ferrari.

After winning six Formula 1 world titles with the Brackley-based team, Hamilton will be leaving for Ferrari when the current campaign comes to a close.

The seven-time world champion is set to partner Monegasque Charles Leclerc for the Italian team in the 2025 season.

Speaking back in February, Hamilton said: "I have had an amazing 11 years with this team and I'm so proud of what we have achieved together.

"Mercedes has been part of my life since I was 13 years old. It's a place where I have grown up, so making the decision to leave was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. But the time is right now for me to take this step and I'm excited to be taking on a new challenge."

Ahead of Hamilton's last race for Mercedes in Abu Dhabi next month, they have announced a special plan for the Brit's car.

On Thursday morning, Mercedes gave fans the chance to have their names printed on Hamilton's car for what is bound to be a historic and emotional moment.

Mercedes said on their website: "Here's your chance to be part of our celebration of Lewis' time with the Team. One hundred and fifty fans will have their names printed on the seven-time world champion's car for his final race with the Team, in Abu Dhabi next month.

"This unique prize is one not to be missed! To be in with a chance, just enter below and you could be part of the lucky 150. The prize draw begins on Thursday, 14 November at 09:00 GMT and ends on Tuesday 26th November at 23:59 GMT."

F1 will return next weekend with the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with the race taking place on November 24.
