The first video of F1 star Lewis Hamilton driving for Ferrari has emerged online, and fans have all said the same thing.

In February last year, Hamilton shocked the Formula One world by announcing that he was leaving former team Mercedes to join rivals Ferrari for the 2025 season and beyond.

Ever since the announcement, fans have eagerly anticipated seeing the seven-time World Championship winner driving the iconic Ferrari red F1 car.

And now, they've finally had the chance to see Hamilton in action with Ferrari, and they're all in agreement about the footage.

On Wednesday, Sky Sports released footage of Hamilton completing his first laps in a Ferrari at the constructor's test track at Fiorano, Italy, giving fans their first glimpse at how he could perform in the upcoming season.

However, a small glimpse is all that fans got, as the track was covered in fog during Hamilton's first time driving for Ferrari.

Reacting to the footage, one F1 fan wrote: "Is this a joke, 5 mins of a blurry screen ? You upload the wrong file?"

While another added: "Wow that’s the most amazing cloud of fog I’ve ever seen."

And one joked: "Proper Alan Partridge level of coverage here."

However, not all fans were so negative about the footage, as some commented on the post to share their excitement about Hamilton's future with the legendary Formula One team.

An excited fan of the British driver added: "This is the start of something big! Hamilton in a Ferrari is a combination we’ve all been waiting for. Let’s see what he can do!"

Some fans were so excited to watch Hamilton driver a Ferrari race car for the first time, that they even lined up outside Fiorano in the early hours of the morning, despite worries that the fog and limited visibility on track could lead to a postponement of the test.

But the eager fans were rewarded, as the 40-year-old reportedly took to the track 9:15am greeted to Fifosi fans waving Ferrari flags and shouting: “My God!” according to Sky Sports Italy.
