Lewis Hamilton reportedly bought a Christmas gift for every single member of the Scuderia Ferrari team.

In 2025, many expected Hamilton to inspire Ferrari and lead them back towards the front of the grid.

However, it turned out to be a horrible season for the seven-time Formula 1 world champion as he struggled to adapt to his new surroundings.

The season started off strong with a Sprint victory in China, but things unravelled quickly from there on.

In the end, Hamilton finished the season in sixth place with 156 points. Meanwhile, teammate Charles Leclerc was fifth with 242 points.

After experiencing three Q1 exits in a row to end the campaign, Hamilton admitted he was looking forward to the winter break.

With Christmas just a couple of days away, it has been reported that Hamilton bought a special gift for the Ferrari team.

According to The Sun, the 40-year-old personally presented each member of the Scuderia Ferrari team with a Fortnum & Mason box.

It has been claimed that the contents of the box include English breakfast tea, lemon curd cookies, tea cookies and a box of Neapolitan chocolates.

In addition, the gift also contained a card with a signed photo and a handwritten message that read: "Happy Holidays, From Lewis."

On the back of what has been described as a nightmare season for Hamilton, there have been doubts over whether the Brit would return to the sport.

Max Verstappen 'hurt' by Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari woes

Speaking about Hamilton's season, four-time world champion Max Verstappen claimed that the Brit will not give up that easily.

He said: "It has obviously not been a nice season for him at Ferrari. You notice that in everything, including the onboard radio. I have to tell you, it really hurts to see him like that. For me, too, to be honest. I don’t like seeing that.

"Stopping, I don’t know, because I don’t think he’s giving up. Lewis will definitely be there. If you don’t feel secure or comfortable within the team dynamic you cannot be yourself and that has an impact. You leave a team that has been your second family in Mercedes and you have built up such a career with them."

Verstappen added: "Everyone benefited off that, Mercedes and Lewis and then going in a completely different route is not easy, plus you are going up against a guy (Charles Leclerc) that has been there for a while. It is very tough."
