Lewis Hamilton was unwittingly part of a tense text exchange between Brooklyn Beckham's wife Nicola Peltz and her wedding planner before her wedding in 2022.
Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding has emerged as a significant reason behind the family feud between Nicola, Brooklyn and his parents David and Victoria Beckham.
Brooklyn posted an explosive series of statements to his Instagram account last Monday, accusing his parents of 'trying endlessly to ruin my relationship'.
He claimed that he has 'received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly' over Nicola, and that these were 'sent to the press on their orders'.

He also accused Victoria of dancing him 'very inappropriately' during what was meant to be his first wedding dance with his new wife.
In the days that have followed, there has been significant reaction to Brooklyn's statement, with various aspects of his accusations clarified further to some extent.
For instance, DJ Fat Tony - the DJ at the 2022 wedding - told ITV's This Morning last Friday that Brooklyn was asked to 'put his hands on his mother's hips' by the host, American singer Marc Anthony.
He said the situation was 'very awkward for everyone in the room', adding: "Everyone was talking about how sad the situation was and Victoria was thrown into it.
"The dance is a very small part of a bigger problem."
Ahead of the big day, Nicola and Brooklyn had enlisted two wedding planners, with a third planner ultimately taking responsibility for the arrangements.

Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz, filed a lawsuit against the second firm, Plan Design Events - ran by Arianna Grijalba and Nicole Braghin.
The firm were only employed for nine days before being fired, with Peltz claiming that he had 'seriously misrepresented their skills and abilities' and that he had not received his $159,000 deposit back.
Plan Design and the two lead wedding planners then filed a counterclaim against Nelson, who is a multi-billionaire, for 'breach of contract', demanding $50,000 in damages plus legal costs.
As part of the filing, they claimed that the Peltz family were 'challenging to work with' and alleged that both Nicola and her mother Claudia had 'insisted that Victoria Beckham could not know about any internal mistakes regarding the ongoing planning of her son's wedding, including any errors with the guest list'.
Following the filing, a series of alleged texts sent between Nicola, Claudia, Nelson and Grijalba were released - which is where Lewis Hamilton inadvertently comes in.
Hamilton, who is a friend of Brooklyn Beckham, was invited to the wedding, which took place on April 9, 2022.
The F1 Australian Grand Prix took place that weekend between April 8 and April 10, meaning Hamilton had to confirm that he couldn't make it.

"Lewis Hamilton did NOT RSVP," Nicola was said to have wrote, in a text addressed to Grijalba. "So explain why his name's on the list please.
"We spoke to him. He can't come so explain why you said he RSVPd yes."
Grijalba explained that the error was related to a new system in place for RSVP invitations, writing: "This system for the RSVP it's new to me, I haven't got a chance to learn how to pull out the data.
"By urgency and wanting to help you, by mistake we sent you everyone that entered the link today.
"I need time to do this ... I hate looking like a fool but I hate the most not giving you what you need ASAP."

Nicola replied: "He didn't RSVP AT ALL," before telling Grijalba that Hamilton's email was correct.
She later wrote: "I'm tired of catching mistakes on this RSVP list honestly. When will I get a straight answer on this."
She then said that the wedding planning was 'more like a MURDER SCENE' after Brooklyn referred to it as a 'mess'.
SPORTbible has contacted Nicola Peltz's representatives for comment.
