Lando Norris walked off during his post-race interview after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Heading into the race weekend in Jeddah, Norris was leading the standings ahead of McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri and Red Bull's Max Verstappen.

However, the Brit's hopes of extending his lead were ruined after he crashed during the final qualifying session on Saturday, meaning he had to start from 10th place in the Grand Prix.

Despite starting lower down the grid, Norris produced a great recovery drive to finish fourth behind Piastri, Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.

Dutchman Verstappen was handed a controversial 5-second penalty after an incident with Piastri in the first corner of the first lap, which ruined the Red Bull star's race.

As a result, Norris dropped to second place in the overall standings and is currently 10 points behind Piastri and just two points ahead of reigning world champion Verstappen.

Speaking after the race, Norris was asked about his preparation ahead of next month's Miami Grand Prix.

He said: "I mean no drinks I’m not drinking… I’ll have a nice weekend off spending with some friends."

At this point, fireworks could be heard in the background, which seemed to irk Norris.

The 25-year-old said: "Oh no, not this again. I hate this. Thank you," before walking away from the interview. You can watch the footage below.

Reflecting on the race itself, Norris said: "Red Bull are just as quick in qualifying. They're just as quick as us in the race. Just because we're quick in practice, people just keep coming up with all this this crap.

"We don't believe we're much ahead as it shows. I think probably Max was the quickest out there today, so we have work to do."

He added: "People keep saying that we're the best, we're the quickest, blah blah blah, but it's just because we show a bit more pace in practice."

F1 will return next month with the Miami Grand Prix, which will take place on May 4.
