Jeremy Clarkson took to social media to celebrate his local team, Alpine's success at the Brazil Grand Prix as they secured a shock double podium.
The Top Gear star has long been Alpine's biggest fan as despite being French, the team's factory is located in Chipping Norton where Clarkson's farm is based.
Despite starting 4th and 13th and not being one of the quicker teams in the sport, Alpine managed to secure 2nd and 3rd in the race behind Max Verstappen with Esteban Ocon finishing ahead of Pierre Gasly.

The race saw Verstappen come from 17th to win, with Lando Norris going from pole position to 6th in a huge blow to the Brit's title chances.
Following the race, Clarkson took to social media to celebrate Alpine's achievement after the result sent them from 9th to 6th in the constructor standings.
Clarkson tweeted: "Brilliant work from Alpine in Brazil today. Fantastic result for the Chipping Norton people."

The 64-year-old has often made it known he roots for the French outfit over the likes of McLaren, Williams, and Aston Martin.
Back in 2023, Clarkson delivered around 1000 bottles of lager to the Alpine factory after promising everyone on the team a pint if they secured a podium at Monaco.
Writing in The Sun at the time, Clarkson said: “Well, their driver Esteban Ocon did finish on the podium, so I called to ask how many pints I should drop round to the factory.
“Fifty? A Hundred? “Nope, it’s just shy of a thousand.”

Clarkson could have been forced to crack open the lagers again as it did look like Ocon may win the Brazil GP as he led the race for a considerable time before Verstappen pounced.
“What a day that was,” Ocon said after the race.
“After the difficult season, it’s really nice to be driving around here and having the performance a bit levelled out in the rain.

“Someone very important [Ayrton Senna] to all of us said a long time ago that in the rain, the cars are almost equal. That phrase didn’t age at all, and I’m very happy to be today on the podium," he added.
