Geri Halliwell's unseen reaction to husband Christian Horner being booed by fans at the F1 75 live event has been revealed.

Ahead of the 2026 Formula One season opener in Melbourne next week, Netflix released the highly-anticipated eighth season of popular series Drive to Survive on Friday.

The documentary series covers the previous F1 season, offering fans behind-the-scenes looks at several of the biggest moments of the previous campaign.

One of the most significant moments of the 2025 season covered in Drive to Survive season eight is former Red Bull chief Horner's dramatic Formula One exit in July last year following 20 years with the team.

And perhaps one of the most notable moments from the Netflix series showed the previously unseen reaction of Halliwell to her husband being booed by fans just months after his sex texting scandal was revealed.

In February 2024, the entire Formula One world was shocked as Horner was accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour by a female member of staff in the wake of a huge leak of suggestive messages allegedly sent by the Red Bull boss.

Horner immediately denied the allegations, and was later cleared of wrongdoing following internal investigations.

Throughout the investigation and the backlash that surrounded it, Halliwell stood by her husband, appearing alongside him on the paddock shortly after the allegations first emerged.

However, her emotions were put to the test during the the F1 75 launch event at the O2 in February last year, as fans decided to loudly boo Horner throughout his entire speech.

"It's a pleasure to be at the O2, anyway. I hope everyone is having a good night," Horner told the unhappy O2 crowd.

During the speech, Netflix cameras focused on Halliwell, who smiled during her husband's speech, continuing to support him despite the allegations.

Speaking about the moment on Drive to Survive, Horner said: "When you become a serial winner the crowd and the audience, they don't wanna see that. In Formula One, there's this element of pantomime, we're now like the Kardashians on wheels.

"But I'm way past even caring what other people think.

He later added: "You have to be the pantomime villain. We are different, and that's what makes us who we are. This isn't a popularity contest it's Formula One and you're judged on the result sheets at the end of the day.

"It's easier to be the hunter than the hunted and of course, for us, anything outside of total domination, is not good enough.' He would later repeat the villain line when sat in the audience."

Three days before the event, Horner spoke about the allegations and his wife's support during Red Bull's new car launch on February 15.

"I have a very supportive family and a very supportive wife,' he said. 'My focus has been on the job and the season ahead.

"There's been a day job to be getting on with. I feel the support within the business and our partners, and within the industry. It is overwhelming."
