A current F1 driver who will take part in Sunday's Dutch Grand Prix has taken part in a YouTube video where he enters an amateur go-kart race whilst undercover – and it's a must-watch.
Oliver Bearman, a British racing driver who competes in Formula One for Haas, is certainly familiar with the karting world.
In fact, he started competitive kart racing at the age of seven and spent much of his childhood on the track, winning several national and continental titles before making a name for himself in Formula 4 and beyond.
The 20-year-old is now considered one of the best young drivers in motorsport following his rise through the junior formulas, but the question remains... does he still know a thing or two about karting?

Of course he does. Appearing in a recent video on the YouTube channel Quadrant, Bearman disguised himself as a karting beginner and was given a three-step mission: qualify last, win the race and podium reveal.
As you can see from the thumbnail, Bearman was plastered in makeup to disguise himself from the rest of the field – and it worked a treat.
"That is probably the scariest thing I've ever seen!" said one member of the crew. "You don't look like you anymore. It's freaking me out a little bit. I don't think I can look at you."

Bearman changed his name to Gerald Stevens and soon made his way to the Daytona Sandown Park track, qualifying in last place.
But soon, the London-born driver would go from P16 to P1 in the space of ten laps – a quite remarkable feat all things considered.
An hour or so later and Bearman made his way to the podium to collect his trophy. "All is not as it seems," said the announcer. "We do have an imposter among us. Ladies and gentlemen, it's Oliver Bearman!"

Here's how fans on social media reacted to the experiment.
One said: "I think he should be ONLY called Gerald for the rest of the F1 season," while another commented: "P2 & P3 didn't even look stoked to be RIGHT NEXT to an F1 racer. Like are you even into karting... I'd have fainted from excitement."
A third wrote: "I felt like there was more pressure there than an actual F1 GP."
A fourth said: "You think you are fast when competing against similarly average drivers. Then you get a huge wake up," and a fifth added: "He has potential to be an actor fr."
