Formula 1 star Lance Stroll left reporters stunned when he walked out of an interview at the Dutch Grand Prix.
Stroll was performing his usual driver's media duties after qualifying at Zandvoort on Saturday but cut them short mid-question to leave behind a baffled press corps on the Netherlands coast.
The Canadian crashed out in Q1 and will start Sunday's Dutch GP at the back of the grid despite positive laps early in practice.

A collision in the second hour of practice on Friday changed the course of Stroll's weekend and his frustrations began to show in conversation with reporters.
According to RacingNews365, the 26-year-old span out and hit the barrier at Turn 13, ending his session in disappointing fashion and condemning him to a P20 starting position in the 15th round of the season.
"Stroll answered questions about the grid-setting hour as usual," reported RacingNews365.
"However, when asked if Aston Martin had made a big turnaround since the Belgian Grand Prix – where the 26-year-old and team-mate Fernando Alonso qualified on the final row – and if the team had unlocked some understanding of its car, Stroll decided to end the media session, walking away."

The question seemed reasonable enough in isolation. Aston Martin had shown signs of progress before the two on-track incidents decimated Stroll's hopes but had to break curfew overnight to repair his car in time for qualifying on Saturday.
Stroll departed the media pen with the question still hanging in the air, having previously admitted his frustration.

The Aston Martin driver sits in 12th place in the 2025 driver standings having collected 26 points – the same tally as teammate Alonso – in the first 14 races of the season.

Stroll's best placing came on the first weekend of the 2025 season back in March, when he finished sixth at the Australian GP. He has finished seventh in two of the last three GPs but will do well to climb the field enough to match that again at Zandvoort on Sunday.
The Canadian driver is yet to make the podium since joining Aston Martin in 2021 but secured the highest spot of his F1 career in the driver standings with the team in 2023.
