The best-paid Formula 1 drivers in 2024 have been revealed - and there are huge reported bonuses handed out to both Max Verstappen and Lando Norris.

Verstappen won his fourth consecutive Drivers' Championship with two races to spare at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Norris, meanwhile, finished second, recording his first race win at the Miami Grand Prix before going on to win on three more occasions.

It was the most successful season of the Brit's F1 career, and he and team-mate Oscar Piastri guided McLaren to their first Constructors' Championship win in 26 years.

According to Forbes, Verstappen has kept his spot as the best-paid F1 driver for the first season in a row.

He collected a total of $75 million as part of his ongoing seven-year contract with Red Bull, including $15 million in bonuses.

In second place is Lewis Hamilton, who earned $57 million - including $2 million in bonuses - during his final season as a Mercedes driver.

The seven-time world champion could top the list next season with his multi-year contract at Ferrari, though Italian media are as yet uncertain as to the exact value of the contract.

In third place is Norris, who earned $35 million in total. However, a staggering $23 million of that money was paid in bonuses.

Fernando Alonso, meanwhile, collected $27.5 million in the year he celebrated his 43rd birthday, with the Spaniard continuing at Aston Martin until 2026 under his current contract.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc is in fifth at $27 million, having collected $12 million in bonuses.
