Formula 1 star Gabriel Bortoleto was involved in a horrific crash during the Brazilian Grand Prix sprint.
On Friday, world championship leader Lando Norris qualified on pole position ahead of Kimi Antonelli and Oscar Piastri.
At the start of the sprint, Norris did well to maintain P1, but things turned sour for McLaren teammate Piastri, who crashed into the barriers on Lap 6.
In addition to Piastri, Franco Colapinto and Nico Hulkenberg also made contact with the barriers.

The race was red-flagged before resuming around 30 minutes later.
Norris managed to keep Antonelli behind to secure maximum points, but the race did end under yellow flags.
On the main straight, Stake F1 driver and home favourite Bortoleto was looking to get pass Isack Hadjar but ended up spinning as the track lacked grip due to dampness.
The Brazilian was sent into the barrier on one side of the track before going airborne on his way to the barrier on the other side, narrowly missing Williams star Alex Albon.

As reported by Sky Sports, Bortoleto confirmed he was okay and managed to get out of his car and into the medical car by himself.
However, the Stake F1 mechanics will now face a race against the clock to get the car ready for qualifying, which will take place later on Saturday.
