Luke Littler showed a completely different side to him after suffering a defeat to Gerwyn Price.

The 17-year-old was involved in night three of the Premier League darts, taking to the oche at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.

But Littler could only make it to the quarter-finals, where he was eliminated by former world champion Price.

The Warrington teen has been playing plenty of games this week, including producing an incredible nine-darter at the Players Championship, but lost 6-5 to Price in a thriller.

It was the first time Price had beaten Littler and he secured the victory after a 13-dart hold.

The darts wonderkid is normally so cool and calm win or lose but there was a rare outburst in his match against Price.

He had the chance to book his place in the semi-final but failed to check-out, allowing Price to swoop in and win.

Littler was furious with his miss and appeared to punch himself while also shouting "F*** off!" in frustration.

After Price threw the winning dart, Littler was then seen muttering to himself and shaking his head as he packed his darts away.

Price took on reigning world champion Luke Humphries in the semi-final and lost 6-3.

But 'Cool Hand Luke' was unable to go all the way as he was defeated 6-5 in the final by Michael van Gerwen.

Since his run to the World Darts Championship final which bagged him a £200,000 prize, Littler has won the Bahrain Masters and Players Championship on his debut.

And he's so impressive that darts legend and 16-time world champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor, is now watching and enjoying the sport again because of Littler.

"I wasn't really watching darts, I wasn't really interested in it and he's made me interested in watching it again," he told talkSPORT.

"I even watched some of the streaming yesterday [Players Championship 2 on Tuesday] so that's not me! But I've really enjoyed watching him.

"He's a great little player, he's got a great little personality and it hasn't affected him yet. I don't think it ever will. I think he will keep his feet on the ground no matter how many tournaments he achieves."

However, Taylor has said he doesn't want to play Littler anytime soon - unless it is an exhibition with one leg of 301.
