Luke Littler has revealed the two things he bought with his winnings after bursting onto the darts scene.

Littler became a darts sensation practically overnight last month when he reached the final of the PDC World Darts Championship at the age of 16.

Though the teenager fell just short in the final at Alexandra Palace with a 7-4 defeat to Luke Humphries, he still pocketed a cool £200,000 during his first major competition.

This week Littler signed his first senior contract, a multi-year, multi-million pound deal with long-time sponsors Target Darts that has been heralded the biggest deal in darts history.

The 17-year-old is certainly not going to have to worry about money for the foreseeable future, and he has already enjoyed part of his winnings from his historic run at the World Darts Championship.

In an interview with JOE, Littler revealed exactly how he spent some of his £200,000 winnings.

He explained that the very first thing he bought was a meal of fish, chips and curry sauce, although to the disbelief of the interviewer, he didn't opt for gravy.

The teenager then revealed that a good chunk of his winnings went into one of his biggest passions: playing EA Sports FC on his Xbox.

"I spent about £500 on Team of the Year, and I didn't get a Team of the Year [player] so... cheers EA!" Littler said.

Littler has always been open about his obsession with playing on his Xbox, admitting that when he plays on it all day when he has a day off.

When asked to describe what a typical day off looks like for him, Little said: "Wake up, TikTok, message my friends, FIFA, Call of Duty, and just chill. Just living a 17-year-old boy's life!"

Ahead of his match against Dirk van Duikvenbode at the Dutch Masters last month, Littler was caught opening FIFA packs by his fellow players.
