From NRL to AFL, cricket to rugby — you name it, Max watches it (with a beer in hand, of course). During his time at Fox Sports, he worked in the football department covering the Premier League, A-League, Socceroos and Matildas. Born a stone's throw away from West Ham's training ground, Max is obviously a die-hard Liverpool fan.

The Indian T20 cricket team aren't too happy with their treatment in Australia.

Virat Kohli and Co are reportedly fuming because they were given cold sandwiches after a training session.

According to reports, the food was so bad that some of the players resorted to ordering other alternatives online.

According to AFP, per Newscorp, the Indian side had just completed an optional training session ahead of their World Cup clash with the Netherlands at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

But it turns out the post-training food on offer wasn't satisfactory in the eyes of the playing squad.

"The team told the ground authorities about the meal we got," an anonymous source within the squad told AFP.

"Will you be happy if you are served a sandwich after three hours of workout? I know all the teams are getting the same thing but they are not speaking out because most of them are not in a position to raise a voice."

The source added: "We did not train today and hope we get something better in our next net session, and if not, then the players will order online like we did on Tuesday."

India is one of the largest and most successful cricketing nations on the planet.

And according to the Daily Mail, threatened to take the issue to the sport's governing bodies if it wasn't resolved next time.

India currently sit in second place in their group after successfully edging out Pakistan in their opening game of the tournament.

It was legendary star Kohli who stepped up to the plate, guiding his nation to victory with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 82 runs in front of 90,000 fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground

"I have no words, no idea how that happened," Kohli said after the game.

"I just kept believing and staying there until the end. I am honestly just lost for words."
