Manchester City are set to kickstart their Champions League campaign to right their wrongs from last Saturday, after coming in to this one off the back of a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.

Furthermore, the club will also have their sights set on finally lifting the elusive European trophy, after being on the receiving end of a last-gasp comeback against eventual winners Real Madrid last term.

Elsewhere in the group, Manchester City will also face the challenge of Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen.

First however, is the challenge of the Spanish contingent in the group.

Pep Guardiola’s men face an out-of-sorts Sevilla side, who have just one point to their name after their first four matches in the 2022/23 La Liga season.

Suffering a 0-3 defeat at the hands of Barcelona in their latest fixture, Julen Lopetegui’s side are not entering their upcoming battle in ideal fashion.

As both sides come into this fixture with the aim of putting things right, here are the most intriguing and notable statistics and landmarks to take a look at!
