Manchester City can return to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues, who came from behind to conclude their Champions League Group Stage campaign with a victory against Sevilla in midweek, face Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.

City can move to the top of the table with a victory over the Cottagers, though Marco Silva's side are in impressive form.

Fulham sit 7th in the Premier League table and are unbeaten in their past four league matches.

Pep Guardiola could have Erling Haaland available for Saturday's match, after the 22 year-old missed last weekend's win over Leicester due to injury.

Manuel Akanji, who was forced off midway through the second-half with injury at the King Power, is however available for the weekend.

Ahead of the meeting at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, here is how we predict Manchester City to line-up against Fulham.

Predicted Team

After an impressive performance in the Midlands last weekend, Ederson will return between the sticks after Stefan Ortega made his home debut in the win over Sevilla on Wednesday night.

Despite Rico Lewis' memorable full debut and a competent return for Sergio Gomez in midweek, John Stones and Joao Cancelo can both be expected to start at full-back this weekend.

In central defence, Ruben Dias can be expected to retain his place and partner Aymeric Laporte, as City look to keep out the dangerous Aleksandar Mitrović.

Rodri will return to starting side and occupy his usual central defensive midfield position.

After a stunning free-kick last weekend and mesmerising cameo at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, Kevin De Bruyne can be expected to return to the starting eleven.

Ilkay Gundogan looks set to drop to the bench, with Bernardo Silva partnering the Belgian in central midfield.

Despite Erling Haaland's potential availability, Julian Alvarez is set to lead the line for the Blues this weekend, following Wednesday's stunning showing.

One expects to see England duo Phil Foden and Jack Grealish either side of the Argentine on Saturday afternoon.
