Manchester City conclude their UEFA Champions League Group Stage campaign on Wednesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side are looking to extend their unbeaten streak in Europe and complete their Group Stage campaign with a win, after successive goalless draws against both FC Copenhagen and Borussia Dortmund.

Despite Riyad Mahrez missing another penalty last week, the Sky Blues secured top spot in their Champions League Group with a point at the Signal Iduna in Germany.

Sevilla, who were thrashed 0-4 by City in September, are the Blues' opponents in Matchday Six, with the Spanish side unable to qualify for the knockout stages irrespective of the result at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

Jorge Sampaoli's side are currently sat in 18th place in La Liga, and suffered a 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano at the weekend.

Sevilla have won just twice in the league all season, though did beat FC Copenhagen 3-0 last week.

Ahead of the clash at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening, here is how we predict Manchester City to line-up against Sevilla.

Predicted Team

Despite an impressive showing against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, Stefan Ortega's stellar debut in Dortmund last week means the German goalkeeper will likely return between the sticks ahead of Ederson on Wednesday.

Both full-back positions are set to be occupied by Manchester City's youth, with Joao Cancelo afforded a rest at left-back and replaced by teenager Josh Wilson-Esbrand for his third senior appearance.

At right-back, Rico Lewis, who has made four showings from the bench already this season, could be handed his first start by Pep Guardiola.

Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake were both named on bench at the weekend and the defensive duo can therefore be expected to make up the Blues' centre-back pairing against Sevilla.

Rodri will also be afforded a rest in midweek as Ilkay Gundogan makes successive starts and plays in the holding midfield role.

To the surprise of some City supporters, both Phil Foden and Jack Grealish could occupy the midfield for Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Julian Alvarez will once again lead the line for the Sky Blues, as the Argentine looks to add the four goals he has already scored this season.

Either side of the young forward will be Riyad Mahrez and Cole Palmer, both of whom will be starting out wide.

Predicted XI: Stefan Ortega; Rico Lewis, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, Josh Wilson-Esbrand; llkay Gundogan, Jack Grealish, Phil Foden; Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Cole Palmer.

Substitutes: Ederson, Scott Carson, Jadel Katongo, Aymeric Laporte, John Stones, Joao Cancelo, Sergio Gomez, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Dire Mebude, Carlos Borges.
