Manchester City have trained for the final time ahead of matchday three in the UEFA Champions League group stage this week.

FC Copenhagen are the visitors to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night, looking to cause issues for the Premier League champions following an impressive outing at the weekend.

Pep Guardiola's side come into the game off the back of a dominant 6-3 victory over city rivals Manchester United.

A double hat-trick from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden saw Manchester City cruise to a win that saw them lead the game 6-1 at one stage.

Late goals from Anthony Martial reduced the scoreline to a more flattering result for Erik ten Hag's side, but the dominant nature of the result remained.

Going into the clash this week, Manchester City held a few injury concerns but clarity has been provided on the personnel available to Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff.

Rodri was a surprise absentee against Manchester United at the weekend, with the Spaniard ruled out with a calf problem sustained in the run-up to the game.

Kyle Walker was also replaced in the first-half with a problem, with Sergio Gomez taking his place.

Speaking during a pre-match press conference this week, Pep Guardiola ruled out Walker from the clash against Copenhagen.

Despite being missing from the weekend's clash, Rodri was 'feeling better' according to the Catalan coach, and re-appeared in training later in the afternoon.

Ahead of Wednesday night's fixture, the full Manchester City squad in training has been revealed.

Goalkeepers: Ederson, Stefan Ortega Moreno, Scott Carson.

Defenders: Rico Lewis, Nathan Ake, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, Manuel Akanji, Joao Cancelo, Sergio Gomez, Joshua Wilson-Esbrand.

Midfielders: Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Alexander Robertson.

Forwards: Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, Ben Knight.

Manchester City will be buoyed by the return of Rodri to training.

Shoulder surgery undertaken by Kalvin Phillips had left City short in defensive midfield, and saw Ilkay Gundogan fill in for Rodri on the weekend.

While Rodri may be eased back into the squad on Wednesday night to avoid any further problems, the return of the Spaniard ensures that the squad remains close to full compliment ahead of a hectic run of fixtures this month.
