Manchester City are looking to take a further step towards Champions League Group Stage qualification on Wednesday evening.

The Premier League Champions, who beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 before the international break, have the opportunity to make it three consecutive wins in midweek.

John Stones and Erling Haaland both scored in the comeback win over the Bundesliga giants last month, with Danish side FC Copenhagen facing Pep Guardiola's side back-to-back.

The Sky Blues travel to Copenhagen next week, where they could possibly secure qualification for the knock-out stages, dependent on results.

City come into Wednesday's clash in ferocious form, after thrashing local rivals Manchester United 6-3 in the Manchester Derby on Sunday afternoon.

Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both scored hat-tricks, as the Blues brought United's four game winning streak to an abrupt end.
