Kevin De Bruyne has admitted that he does not understand how people could have possibly doubted Erling Haaland's ability to transition and contribute to Manchester City this season.
The Manchester City duo have got off to a flying start this season, playing a crucial role in opening fixtures that have seen the club be defeated on just one occasion.
For the Norway international striker, he has scored a staggering 20 goals and provided a further three assists in just 14 appearances across all competitions for the club.
As for Kevin De Bruyne, the Belgian playmaker has provided an incredible 11 assists, complimented by one goal, across his first 14 appearances under Pep Guardiola this season.

But it is the vice-captain that was left confused by some of the doubters around his attacking teammate, in a new interview this week.
Speaking to the official club website this week, Kevin De Bruyne said, "I don’t understand why people would say it would be difficult (for Erling Haaland) to score goals here.
He continued, "I think we have an amazing team, we create a lot of opportunities for our strikers.
"So if he’s there, he will score goals.
“I think he made a very good decision to come (to Manchester City)."
De Bruyne continued by stressing that Erling Haaland's track record throughout his career so far was enough evidence for onlookers to predict that the Norwegian would continue to score for fun in Sky Blue.
The Belgian midfielder went on to say, "He did it before. He’s a very good striker.
“I am very happy for him that he started the way that he started with us because obviously there was a lot of pressure coming here.
“But he’s fine, he’s very relaxed and he’s started well. He scores a lot of goals so he’s helping us to win games."
Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne will be looking to contribute more to Manchester City's success when they return to Premier League action this weekend.
