Anthony Joshua took his record to 17-0 with a seventh round stoppage of Dominic Breazeale as he went past the third round for only the second time in his career. Also the second time he'd gone to the seventh round. And fans were impressed with the performance of both men.
American Breazeale came into the fight with the record that Joshua now holds, just without a world title belt to his name, and despite not landing many shots of his own won plaudits for soaking up the Brits big punches and lasting until the seventh round when he was knocked down twice.
Former Olympian Joshua impressed in the way he wore down his opponent and dominated throughout the seven rounds getting some much needed tough work under his belt, though naysayers, who usually question his legs going longer into fights, will no doubt question the fact it took him seven rounds.
